One evening in 2021 I was perusing Youtube to find inspirational materials to use during our black history month program. I stumbled across an amazing poet, Aretha Rodney. I reached out immediately and asked her to be a part of our program. She agreed and brought the house down. This year was in person and our campus is still buzzing over her performance!She is kind, humble and an amazing wordsmith. She will leave you feeling inspired!

I first heard Aretha at an evening event for women. From the moment she got up to speak I was drawn in by her powerful and compelling delivery of a Spoken word. I immediately reached out to her to speak at our ministry event for women, Let’s Get Real. She was professional, willing and gracious in in all our communication and in meeting our requirements. This dynamic young woman is strong yet humble in her demeanor and presentation. She is a beautiful woman of God, inside and out.
