Aretha Rodney McDonald is a creative powerhouse with a deep-rooted love for the performing arts and literary arts—a passion first kindled in childhood as she sang and danced in church and school. Over the years, that spark has grown into a radiant flame. Through her journey of self-discovery, she found her identity in artistic expression.

A multifaceted artist, Aretha is a writer of spoken word poetry, songs, and screenplays, as well as a singer, dancer, actor, guitarist, and director. She enjoys bringing life to every production she leads, seeing the performing arts as a living, breathing expression that transcends. For Aretha, creativity is more than performance—it’s a universal language that connects hearts, stirs emotion, and tells the stories words alone cannot
Beyond the stage, Aretha is a devoted wife and mother to two beautiful children, and an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She is committed to living a life of integrity—one that honors God and inspires others. Her desire is to use the performing arts as a vessel of hope in a world that can sometimes feel hopeless, sharing her love for creativity in a way that uplifts hearts and glorifies God.
