ARETHA RODNEY ARTISTRY

Aretha Rodney-McDonald is a singer,  songwriter and spoken word artist who migrated from Jamaica to New Jersey at the age of nine. Aretha has been delivering her poetry and songs of inspiration to audiences for over a decade.  She was recognized in Orlando’s Voyager Magazine as one of Orlando’s rising stars. Her original production, Melodies of History, made its 2023 debut at the Dr Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. She is a wife and mother of two children and her heart’s desire is to spread the message of Jesus while inspiring and motivating her audience to keep on going. Aretha’s songs and poems are a reflection of God’s gift to her so she takes great pleasure in sharing it to the world.
